Organisation Overview

Degrémont was originally incorporated in Australia as Australian Water Services (AWS) in 1991 and is a subsidiary of Degrémont, the international water treatment plant specialist within SUEZ Environnement Group, which provides environmental skills in terms of water management, sanitation, and waste services.

Degrémont designs, builds and operates water systems in partnership with public authorities as well as industrial customers in Australia and New Zealand and has earned a reputation as an industry leader when it comes to working in Public Private Partnerships.

Degrémont brings more than 120 years experience to the operation of water utilities in Australia and New Zealand. We also bring extensive knowledge and skills to our partners, through our direct access to the results of more than $100 million of research and development undertaken by Degrémont.
